Questions worth answering.
- Is Rovik therapy?
- No. Rovik is a behaviour-change companion. It supports reflection, planning and habit formation, and it points you toward professional support when something deserves more than coaching can offer. It will not diagnose, prescribe, or pretend to be your therapist.
- Is Rovik a chatbot?
- No. Rovik is an autonomous agent: it has long-term memory of your goals and patterns, agency through around 30 tools across the app, and a heartbeat that wakes through the day to help. A chatbot waits for you to type. Rovik goes with you.
- What’s free vs paid?
- We haven’t finalised pricing. The current direction: passive tracking and Fitness Challenges free; the agent layer (long-term memory, proactive heartbeat, deeper coaching) paid. We’ll tell you before we charge you. The early access waitlist is free.
- Do I have to track calories?
- No. Calories and macros are one tracking style. You can also track protein only, meal quality, photos without numbers, or just habits like “eat breakfast.” Pick the level that fits the day you’re having.
- Will it work for beginners?
- Yes — that’s the design intent. Rovik scales to your experience level, suggests minimum versions of habits, and never recommends an intensity you haven’t consented to.
- Where is my data stored?
- On servers we operate, with the journal layer kept separate by default. You decide what Rovik can read. We’re writing the full data-handling policy in plain language and will publish it before public launch.
- Can I delete everything?
- Yes. You can export your data and delete your account in full. Until the in-app portal ships, email hello@rovik.ai and we’ll handle it manually within 30 days.
- When can I get in?
- We’re letting people in slowly so Rovik learns well. Join the waitlist and we’ll send one short note when your spot opens.
- Who’s behind Rovik?
- A small team building the companion we wanted. We’ll introduce ourselves properly when there’s a product to introduce.
